Queerope Berlin 2026 – Save the Date
Queerope Berlin is back, and we couldn’t be more excited. We’re returning to KARA this September with an incredible international line-up of facilitators, 37 facilitated spaces and workshops, and everything that makes Queerope special. Five days of rope, community, learning, and being exactly who you are, with people who get it.
Save the Date
📅 September 2–6, 2026
📍 KARA, Perleberger Straße 59, 10559 Berlin
🎟 Tickets available from May 1, 2026 — 8am CET
What is Queerope?
Queerope Berlin 2026 is a 5-day in-person conference centered on shibari, kinbaku, and Japanese-inspired bondage — exclusively for LGBTQIA+ people and womên. All roles are welcome: riggers, models, tops, bottoms, switches. All styles. All knowledge levels, provided you come with at least a solid foundation in basics (single-column tie, double-column tie, tension, frictions, basic knots, safety and anatomy).
What makes Queerope different is not just who it’s for — it’s how it’s built. This is a space where your identity is not the exception. It is the starting point.
The Line-Up
We are proud to bring together ten facilitators from across Europe, North America, and Japan:
- Caritia (Germany/UK)
- Ceci Ferox (Germany/Finland)
- Juliette & Olive (Belgium)
- Lief Bound & Icky (USA)
- Murasaki Haruan (Japan)
- Nana (Finland)
- Renée de Sans (Germany)
- Sophia Rose (UK)
- Thumper & Bondagious (Canada)
This lineup brings together a genuinely international community of practitioners who share a commitment to queer-centered, embodied rope practice. Expect 37 facilitated spaces and workshops, plus room for skillshares, lab time, and simply being.
What to Expect
Five days. Multiple rooms. A garden. Berlin at the end of summer. A kitchen. Space for introverts and neurodivergent folks to retreat when needed. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks available throughout the day. Limited sleeping spots for those who want to stay over.
The pace is intentional. There is space to slow down, to connect, to tie for the pleasure of it rather than for progress. Highly skilled facilitators will guide and hold space — but this is your gathering as much as it is theirs.
Accessibility matters to us in concrete terms: the building is wheelchair accessible (ground floor with a ramp available), there are quiet retreat areas, fidget tools, visual clocks, and psychological first aid resources on site. If you have specific needs, reach out and we will work with you to make it happen.
