You’ve read the books, joined the discussions, and explored ideas of power, consent, and leadership — now it’s time to bring that knowledge into your body.

This guided practice day is for those who already have a foundation in dominance and power dynamics and want to develop more hands-on experience in leading, directing, and holding space in play.

Facilitated by Caritia, this space welcomes LGBTQIA+ participants and their respectful friends and allies to learn and practice together in an atmosphere of curiosity, consent, and mutual respect. You’ll receive gentle guidance, practical prompts, and opportunities for reflection and feedback.

Participants must attend with a pre-arranged play partner.
Come prepared to explore your leadership and dominance in action — and to move from theory into embodied power.

Note: December 6th Delving into Dominance Playground is for LGBTQIA+ folks only

What we will do

  • Introductions – Meet and greet ice breakers
  • Discussion and intention setting – the what and whys of play
  • Negotiation (incorporating intersectionality) – the how
  • Playing intentionally — exploring desires, presence, and power.
  • Coaching tips and tricks (optional)
  • Open play space
  • Feedback and closing circle

Participants are asked to come prepared and to dress (bring your outfits with you and change at the space) in a way that supports them in embodying their leadership selves. (Karada House is a no-shoe space, so do keep that in mind.)
