single & double column ties, frictions (floor & harness), a chest harness, futomomo, hip harness, suspension line attachment & locking, safety (hand checks, nerves, communication, trouble shooting)
What to bring:
Comfortable clothes that are more tight fitting if possible, 6-8 suspension worthy ropes (depending on the body and harnesses you're tying)

Let’s twist things up. Use your choice of chest harness with a half mermaid tie to create spiraling shapes in the air. Learn how to suspend in torsion safely while paying close attention to balance and body tension. You will learn about lifting vs. lowering into suspension in the process.

Dasniya Sommer is a Berlin-based choreographer and (visual) artist who works in the range from performance to photography and video art, from Japanese Shibari to classical ballet.
