Shibari Jam (LGBTQIA+ & Friends)

We have revamped our Shibari Bondage Jams to a slower and safe(r) version.

Enjoy your session together with a small group of other shibari enthusiasts to play, lab & learn. We will hold space for you and can serve as your spotter. The slow jam is not a learning space, so we do not teach but we’re always approachable for some advise.

How it works:

We offer 2 time slots, each lasting 2 hours. Your ticket makes one of our spaces + one hanging point (3 bamboo, 5 rings) available to you and one partner for that dedicated time. You can also book an intimate separeé (our bubble room) with a bamboo.

The time slots are: 2-4pm (mixed), 4:30pm-6.30pm (mixed)

Max people per booked space: 2 people

Hire a rigger:

If you have nobody to currently tie you, we can provide a professional rigger for you. Ron Hades is one of our queer facilitators and available for a session during the jam. In order to use this service, you need to send us a message to: info@karada-house.de for further details. All tying will be with masks on, only.

What else to know:

This offering will fall within the present guidelines of Covid 19. Pre-registration only. The number of participants is restricted. Everyone must be fit and healthy when entering the space.  No food or snacks will be provide, everyone must provide their own. Toilets are available, the shower is not. We prefer that you wear a mask.

LGBTQIA+ describes the full spectrum of non-mainstream sexual orientation and/or gender identity, meaning: lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, non-binary, genderqueer/fluid,

Friends describes people of any and all kinds of gender and sexual identities who are aware and respectful of the necessity, needs and boundaries of a queer safe(r) space and its marginalized community.

When you consider yourself a friend you show acknowledgement to and are respectful of everyone’s self expressions and do not assume, presume or project non consensual ideas onto others. You actively request and use people’s chosen pronouns. You remain mindful of the fact that Karada House is first and foremost a space for queer people that you are also invited to attend. You have a genuine concern for the well-being of LGBTQIA+ people and remain in awareness of heterosexual and gender straight privileges.

Friends don’t have to be perfect. None of us are. We request that we all pro-actively work and strive to be good friends and allies to marginalized people.
