Sexualities and Race

25. April 2021, 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm

Sexualities and sexual identities do not develop outside of historical and current socio-political structures and currents.

In this class, Caritia will take a long and hard look at the intersections of race and sexual & gender identity and how we are all influenced by colonialism, racism, and racialized ideas.

This class will work with a mixture of historical facts, theories but will also draw from a vast depot of lived experiences as a Black, queer, kinky person, living in Europe.

This event is part of the “About: Sexual Identities” Conference and can be purchased as a single ticket or be part of the day ticket or full conference ticket.
