This class will look at hand and finger multitasking techniques to move rope smoothly and efficiently, saving the tying person’s fingers and the person in rope’s skin, while increasing control, contact, and connection between tying partners. The class will provide several exercises to be used long-term to develop skills and build muscle memory, thus leaving more brain space free to focus on one’s partner. These techniques apply to any style, tie, and skill level. Learning good handling early in your rope career is a fantastic step, and seasoned rope enthusiasts can add efficiency and subtlety to their tying.
