You’ll learn essential finger techniques like the hook and scissors grips, master smooth wrapping for better flow, and explore counter tensions and ladder wraps to keep things snug and functional. We’ll also talk about ergonomics, so your body moves efficiently and comfortably — no sore shoulders here! Perfect for beginners and anyone wanting more grace in their ropework.

Rope Fundamentals

Start here if you’re new to rope, want a solid foundation of shibari skills, or need to get back to basics. You’ll learn the “what” and the “how” of tying: handling your rope, basic knots, simple harnesses, and how rope can connect bodies and moods. We keep it relaxed, safe, and supportive.
