This class is a potpourri of fun and functional rope elements to increase accessibility and break barriers. Leg binders for people whose knees don’t bend well, tying techniques that don’t rely on hands, noticing and responding to movement via senses other than sight, horizontal suspension that doesn’t require hard points, pulley systems that don’t use grip strength or weight advantage, rope-ish games for people who are just starting and want to find ways to play, and many more

 

Format: hands-on workshop

Minimum knowledge level: single-column tie

Maximum amount of participants: No., Passive watching is welcome in this session

What to bring: ropes, might want something to take notes.

Addie is a switch and self-suspension enthusiast. She organizes regular workshops on dynamic self-suspension and versatile education both, for beginners and technically advanced. When co- teaching she focuses on bottoming information and discourse.
