Oil & Flesh Ritual

This is an immersive sensual group ritual that’s somewhere between a cuddle puddle and an orgy. Naked, laying down, blindfolded, and covered from head to toe in warm coconut oil.. You’ll be guided to touch your own and other’s bodies with slowness and presence. You’ll be encouraged to drop stories of desirability and melt into the pool of soft bodies.

Curious about how it’ll happen?

We will begin the session by establishing clear boundaries and designated safety words & gestures. Almond will also demonstrate and guide you through practicing your yes’s and no’s.
You’ll then be invited to disrobe and blindfold, then guided onto the cushioned tarp where the magic will happen.
On a cushioned tarp, you’ll be assisted to lay closely side-by-side.
Once the warm oil has been poured onto your bodies, you’ll be invited to start moving and touching your own body. Slowly, you’ll be invited to explore the beings beside you.
While sensuality and eroticism are welcome, penetration (of any kind) is not. You’re invited to reach for nearby bodies with the back of your hands and limbs, but never to grab or hold.
You’re welcome to come out of the experience at any moment and a facilitator will help you come out.
We will end with collective aftercare and integration.

Clean-up

Be prepared to be completely covered in coconut oil, including your blindfold and hair!
To respect the house, anyone coming off the tarp after having oil on them needs to be fully clothed with fresh socks (no oil on the floors, pretty please). Therefore, please come prepared with several socks, towels, and clothes that will come in contact with oil left over on your skin.

Risks involved

We want you to make a risk-informed decision about your participation in such a ritual.
– While there is no genital contact in the pit, there is still the risk of STI transmission through the oil.
– While the space holders are watching diligently to ensure the space guidelines and consent practices are being followed – we can’t see everything at all times.
– We are all humans with histories, traumas, and baggage. This ritual is highly immersive and can open doors to big emotions. For some, this is a very edgy and intense experience.

Preparation

– For hygiene, we must ask that you let us know if you have any transferrable skin-to-skin infections. There are ways we can modify the practice for you to participate.
– Please do not join if you’re feeling physically unwell, or have an active transmittable STI or an open wound.
– For slippery safety, this ritual happens sitting and lying. If these aren’t accessible for you, please reach out to explore accommodations.
– Please shower before coming.
– Trim your nails.
– Brush your teeth.
– Use minimal scented products.
– Wash off estrogen and testo gel.

Accessibility Note
This ritual happens on a cushioned tarp on the floor. Participants must stay laying or sitting down (as standing in oil is too dangerous). Please reach out to Almond if this is an accessibility issue for you, and we can discuss how to accommodate. Oil & Flesh is facilitated in spoken English. German can also be provided. The space, KARA, is on the ground floor but has three steps to enter the house. A ramp for wheelchairs is available at all times. There is also a parking space available right in front of the door if needed. KARA has an accessible bathroom available. There are no thresholds in the entire house. The garden is only partially accessible at the moment. During the workshop, we will sit on the floor. Sitting in a chair can also be provided.
