Event Details

By means of ethnographically and sociologically informed research, this 3-hours workshop seeks to explore kink from various cultures across the African continent.

By looking from another angle, this talk hopes to teach about sexuality from a pre-colonial and decolonial perspective and how kink might not have always been called that way, while existing for millennia, in the hopes of offering tools for true inclusivity in BDSM today.
