Event Details

In this weekend workshop, Barkas and Addie will be taking the participants on a journey that goes way beyond mere tying. In various sections, we will be looking at the fine details of advanced rope techniques challenging ideas about tying and being tied as well as pushing participants beyond their usual skill set, while encouraging new ways of thinking and using rope.

This workshop is directed at those who are already proficient in their tying and who are now looking at what to do with these skills and how to go beyond. It is also suitable for very skilled practitioners seeking to go into the advanced material of Addie & Barkas’ curriculum and way of approaching rope as a practice (which is not readily available to learn outside of private lessons at the moment).

Come for the rope challenges and inspiration, stay for the mind fuck.

Please note that participants need to apply for this workshop. An application includes a brief letter of intent (previous experiences, previous teachers, a reason for participating) and a brief video of their tying skills. That video should ideally show your advanced skills in tying and being tied. An application should include both partners, i.e. letter of intent, and the video should include both the person tying and the person in ropes. Switching absolutely welcome but for time reasons, not every exercise can be done by both. Short-term changes of partners are possible with a check-in ahead of the workshop. Please send your application to info@karada-house.de

Additionally, you can book a private lesson here.
