Each January, at the beginning of the new calendar year, we pause and take time to reconnect with ourselves.
Take a deep, big breath, unclench your jaw, and loosen your shoulders—shake it out. Yes, this life is filled with challenges, so much fun, and yet also overwhelming at times. You are doing the thing; you made it this far! It is time to allow yourself to get out of survival mode or chronic stress and come back (in)to yourself.
Caritia will hold space for you for an entire weekend and help you to really slowly come back into your body and mind in a soft and focused way. Together, we will press the stop button for a moment, return to ourselves, and refocus on our body, our soul, and our life.
Also, on the second day of the retreat, we will allow and give space for emotions to be released and, we will focus on your personal journey ahead. We will build an idea of your near future together – a future that will allow you to stay with yourself a bit more and leave the chronic stress and fatigue behind.
What we will do
- We will gather together and create a wonderful queer bubble of like-minded people
- Get to know and trust each other
- Exercises to come back into your embodied self
- Exercises to clear and focus your mind
- We will examine your current state of affairs, your desires and wishes
- We will find ways to help you be in your body and stay in it
- We will cherish and release emotions of all kinds: anger, sadness, fear, anxiety, joy
- We will have fun together and hold space for each other in different kinds of ways
- We will do rituals to help you find your way towards your desires
- We will make future plans
Shared lunch
We will share food with each other during this retreat, so please bring something to eat for you and the group (potluck style, it does not have to be much). Karada House will also provide food for our shared lunch together.
