This is a separatist space to discuss and lab about kink, intimacy, and virtual play space for black, brown and Indigenous folks.

For quite some time, Caritia has been musing on encouraging and inspiring more BIPOC into the realm of alternative lifestyles and ways of relating. There are many systemic barriers to this, including patriarchy, capitalism, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering of BIPOC to talk, learn about a topic or practice and support one another through a community that is actively built together, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year.

Caritia’s intention is to create a guided, active space for learning and coming together. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit.

What we will do

Decolonizing / Deconstructing Kink

Who should join

This space is specifically for Afro-diaspora, South American, black, brown, Indigenous, and marginalized individuals who are interested in kink and BDSM through the lens of intersectional nuances and transformative justice. This space may not fit for all marginalised demographics, as it is impossible to cover such diversity in one space.
