Adapting Rope

Caritia continues to find rope rather ableist in nature, with many not considering how creating accommodations for differing bodies and abilities is a super fun practice. Let’s work together to discover ways to encourage more diversity in and with rope.

 

Details:

Format: workshop & demonstration

Minimum Knowledge Level: Participants need to know how to tie a single-column tie, a lark’s head, and tension/counter-tension

What to Bring: 3 ropes or more, a chair or objects they wish to include in a tie. Questions around an adaptation that they are struggling with.

Solo or Partnered: any constellation, if you want to tie along you need a partner

This class will be recorded (only the facilitator, not the participants) and is available for ticket holders for 30 days after the event.
