Minimum knowledge:
if you want to tie along, you need to be able to tie double column ties, hojo cuffs, and have some experience in tying harnesses.
What to bring:
3-4 ropes depending on the body size and shape you’re tying.
Recording:
This session will be recorded (only the facilitator, not the participants) and is available for ticket holders for 30 days after the event.

This technical workshop on the half mermaid tie calls for all merpeople – mermaids, mermen, and merthems – of all sizes and shapes. We will queer up this classic by playing with geometrics, rope placement, and suspension attachments. How do you make it supportive, tie it on a soft body, or make it more masculine? How do you make it more curvy or straight in suspension, or suspend it from the back?

Join this class for not only a deeper understanding of the half mermaid, but also a broader understanding of tailoring ties. There will be both demos and tie-along exercises, you can self-tie or tie with a partner.

Ceci Ferox (they/them)

Ceci is a queer, non-binary, and fat sexologist. They are a huge sex nerd with a special interest in shibari and have been teaching bondage and BDSM for 10 years.
