DESCRIPTION:This technical workshop on the half mermaid tie calls for all merpeople – mermaids\, mermen\, and merthems – of all sizes and shapes. We will queer up this classic by playing with geometrics\, rope placement\, and suspension attachments. How do you make it supportive\, tie it on a soft body\, or make it more masculine? How do you make it more curvy or straight in suspension\, or suspend it from the back? \nJoin this class for not only a deeper understanding of the half mermaid\, but also a broader understanding of tailoring ties. There will be both demos and tie-along exercises\, you can self-tie or tie with a partner.
