We usually teach with the goal of separating the practice of rope from inherent expectations or assumptions of sexual contact. But that does not mean that they do not practice and enjoy sexual rope as well!

This workshop series will focus on rope techniques for sex and ideas how to sexualize ropes. We will not only look at ways of queering approaches to rope and sex (however you define and practice it) but also engage in a deconstruction of sex, sexuality, intimacy, and eroticism in the context of ropes.

Georg Barkas is an intimacy educator, researcher, and rope bondage performer based in Vancouver, Canada. Their focus lies in the deconstruction of established norms and approaches to kink, intimacy, and sexuality.
