Event Details

There is a very common myth that people in chronic pain cannot tie or be tied. In reality, there are myriads of ways in which rope can be accessible, pleasurable, and helpful for our chronically painful bodies – which we will explore together!

This workshop is an introduction to rope while in chronic pain. We’ll talk about comfort, types of pain, adaptations, emotions, safety, mobility aids (& more) with a focus on discovering how rope can be accessible to all of our bodies. This workshop is the beginning of a series by Almond that will be continued through the fall into the spring of 2022.

If you’d like to influence the direction of this workshop series, you’re welcome to share your feedback by using this link: https://www.almondlinden.com/surveyropepain

Who is this for:
This workshop is written for folx who have stayed away from rope because of their pain, for folx who love/play/tie with people in chronic pain & for folx who want to expand their understanding of these topics. You’re welcome whether or not you’re in chronic pain. You’re welcome whether you’re an absolute beginner or a pro. And, you do not need ropes to participate.
