Rope Dialogues

A workshop about the intimate possibilities of tying on the ground. In this class, we look specifically at the intersection of communication, position, and a new way of looking at intimacy itself.
What can be communicated, from where, how, and to what end?

Georg Barkas (they/them)

Georg Barkas is an intimacy educator, researcher, and rope bondage performer based in Vancouver, Canada. Their focus lies in the deconstruction of established norms and approaches to kink, intimacy, and sexuality. Emmy (she/her)

Emmy (she/her) is a queer, bottom-leaning rope switch from England, living in Vancouver, Canada. Her focus is communication and consent, as well as the meta aspects of tying. Together with Barkas, she co-teaches regular Kinbaku classes and helps organizing community.
