Caritia is offering this guided discussion and workshop based on a poem written for CARNE – a group piece performed with Gruppo Oito in 2024. The poem speaks to and of the intersectional nature of love as an action, inspired by Bell Hooks.

“The word ‘love’ is most often defined as a noun, yet we would all love better if we used it as a verb,” – bell hooks

Participants are invited to join this discourse on what love is for you. The many ways in which it can be expressed and (re)discovering intentional ways to allow all kinds of love into our lives as an act of revolution, resistance and care.

Pull up a chair, lay in your bed or create yourself a nest, let’s commune together.
