In this facilitated discussion, we’ll delve into genre. We’ll open by discussing queer modes of generic use and play, such as camp and disidentification. We will then proceed to discuss common rope genres and discuss different ways of approaching them. We’ll ultimately cover how scenes develop in conversation through genre. Participants will leave with practical ideas for new ways to tie.
