This workshop offers a guided space to explore pet play as a form of embodied expression. Through movement, imagination, and playful experimentation, participants are invited to connect with the qualities, behaviors, and energies of different animals—curiosity, loyalty, mischief, softness, wildness.

Rather than performance, this is about sensation and experience: loosening the thinking mind and allowing the body to lead.

Caritia creates a supportive and harm-reduction (principles) environment where you can intentionally explore what it feels like to “become” a pet or animal in your own way—subtle or expressive, grounded or playful.

What we’ll explore together

  • What pet play can mean as a form of embodiment and expression
  • How to access and explore animal-like movement, posture, and behaviour
  • The role of imagination, instinct, and non-verbal communication
  • Consent, boundaries, and care within pet play dynamics
  • Letting go of self-consciousness and embracing play
