Welcome to the Singles Rope Jam, a space for you to find new rope friends and tying partners (or rekindle old ropelationships). Ceci will guide you through a collective warm up, starting with a moment of grounding self-tying and then finding a partner or a small group to tie with. Afterwards you will have plenty of time to chat, tie, and connect in our lovely big house. The garden with suspension points and hashiras will also be open for you if it’s not raining.
What happens at the Singles Rope Jam?
- Space introduction and intro round at 7.30pm
- Guided self-tying and tying in pairs or small groups
- Free mingling, cruising space, and tying with people
All participation is voluntary, and you get to choose who you want to partner with, or stay with self-tying for part or all of the event. Ceci is available for any support you might need around navigating the social space. Doors open at 7pm and close at 9pm. We play the gongs 30 minutes before closing so you can finish calmly and don’t need to rush.
Who is the Singles Rope Jam for?
- Anyone who is curious about tying with new people
- Adventurers who want to have a new experience
- Socially anxious people who need some guidance to get warmed up
This is a space for people under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, we embrace all experience levels and identities within this spectrum. We welcome all roles: people tying, people getting tied, switches, self tyers, rope sluts, nerds, and everyone in between.

More Information
- The door opens at 7:00 pm and stays open until 9:00 pm (sharp).
- At 7:30 pm we will give an introduction to people who are new to the space and/or new to the jam. If you are introverted, nervous, new or need help connecting to people, DO NOT MISS THE INTRO!
- You can then choose your space to tie (we offer bamboo, ring, and spaces for floorwork). The spaces have yoga mats and cushions.
- In the last hour, we lower the lights and offer a gong bath for a slower, more intimate session end.
What’s the space like?
We have a kitchen (that’s where the snacks hang out) and hang-out area. We have two mezzanines, one for relaxing and having private conversations, one for tying more privately.
The main room has suspension points, hashiras, bamboo and rings are provided.
In the summer: We open the gardes so people can tie outside (imagine summer breeze on your skin while doing ropey stuff) We need to keep the noise level low, though.
What to bring
- All ropes, gear, safety cutter, carabiners, etc you need.
- We have rings and bamboo but you can also bring your own.
- Please bring a blanket or towel to put on the yoga mats we provide.
I am super new/nervous/introverted
No problem at all. We got you. Please join us right at 7:30 pm for an introduction to the space, the jam itself, and some advice as to how to navigate a jam and how to engage with people.
You can also send us a message beforehand and we will help you navigate the evening and find like-minded people to engage with.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. We always introduce people to each other at the introduction round at 7:30 pm, so join us then to meet other people.
