What to know:
This course is suitable for riggers who are comfortable tying in partial. Having already been tied several times in partial is necessary for the models. Communication being a central element in shibari it is always preferable to come with a partner with whom you already practice in order to allow a good experience. It's important to have already discussed the framework of your practice (desires, intentions, limits, ways of managing consent).

What to bring:
A minimum of 8-10 jute ropes (or hemp), ideally 6mm in diameter and averaging 7-8 meters in lenght will be required.

When designing this workshop five years ago, I asked myself: how can we tie the hands in a creative way while maintaining technical precision, aesthetic consistency, and a clear dialogue with the person in ropes? Since then, I have taught this workshop many times, and these bondages have evolved through practice, repetition, and transmission, while new ties have gradually emerged.

Particular emphasis will be placed on adapting these ties to different body types, so that each person can find what works best for them. Depending on the ties explored, participants’ level of experience, and their preferences, these bondages can be explored both in partial suspension and in full suspension.

She began to follow Docvale’s teaching in November 2018, later partnering with him to co- manage Atelier Simonet in Paris until sum...
