Unpack and release internalized shame around sex, pleasure, and sexual identity in this 3-hour workshop led by sex therapist Ceci Ferox. Ceci offers a supportive and affirming space to explore how cultural messages, upbringing, and personal experiences have shaped your relationship to your body, sexuality, and pleasure.
Through guided exercises, reflective writing, group dialogue, and trauma-aware facilitation, we’ll examine the stories we’ve been told — and the ones we tell ourselves — about what is “normal,” “good,” or “acceptable” when it comes to sex. You’ll leave with greater clarity, self-compassion, and practical tools for rewriting your own narrative and reclaiming your pleasure on your own terms.
This workshop is inclusive of all genders, sexualities, and relationship styles within the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. Come exactly as you are — curious, skeptical, shy, bold, sexual, asexual — and be ready to explore with others doing the same.
This class offers:
– Identify dominant cultural messages about sex, pleasure, and identity
– Recognize how your experiences have molded your understanding of pleasure
– Dream and set goals on your ideal life of pleasure
– Share experiences with others and get support from peers
Who Should Attend:
– Anyone feeling disconnected from or conflicted about sexuality or pleasure
– People working through religious, cultural, or personal sexual shame
– Individuals curious about reclaiming their pleasure, sexuality, and body
