Floor Torments

12. September 2024, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

This ground-based class will feature constricting bondage, all of which has in common the progressive search for difficulty for the person being tied.
It will leave room for creativity, so that each pair can find its own interpretation of what torment in ropes can be.
This class will also be an opportunity to discuss the subject of letting go for people who are tied up. How does our rigger’s behavior contribute to our ability to surrender to our reactions and emotions?

Partner: Sixtine

Format: hands-on workshop

Minimum knowledge level: As a minimum, peopel tying must master a single column tie, double column tie, counter tension and X-friction. The person being tied must have had some previous experience with ropes.

Maximum amount of participants: 12 pairs

What to bring: 6-8 ropes, safety equipment

Constellations: pairs

Accessibility: This class is not suited for people (both rigger and model) who cannot sit for an extended period.
