Torment of Lacing

In this workshop, we will be looking at the effect of tying tight lacing. We will explore the presence of Semenawa by applying high tension, immobilizing the whole body, and creating a slow build-up for a rope scene.

Welcome to tie along in this hands-on workshop, bring as many ropes as you can as this tie requires a lot of ropes!

Format: hands-on workshop

Minimum knowledge level: basic knots and frictions. e.g single-column tie, double column tie, and half hitches

Maximum amount of participants: 8 pairs, passive watching is welcome.

What to bring: as many ropes as you require

Constellations: all constellations welcome

Accessibility: we will be sitting on the floor but other ways to sit more comfortably can be arranged
