Queer Intimacies is a conference that wishes to bridge the gaps between the practical application of kink, BDSM, our ideas about sexualities and intimacies with theoretical and more academic concepts and approaches.
This makes Queer Intimacies a bit of a chimera. It does not fit the usual formats and notions of kink, sex and intimacy education. Nor would it fit an academic setting which oftentimes excludes and censors practitioners and sex and intimacy workers.
Karada House is happy to invite you onto this thought-provoking trip. A whole weekend of thoughts, concepts, storytelling, critical thinking that within its loose arrangement will leave lots of space to deconstruct old notions and move things forward in a productive way.
