em~amir steinberg

em~amir grew up in Israel/Palestine to Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry, and moved to Germany 10 year ago. Through othering and being othered—personally, politically, intergenerationally—em’s had a taste of the cyclical nature of dehumanization & violence, as many others do in (post)colonial times. This is why she longs to travel collectively to the edges of identity, to try and reconnect with who we were each told is other. She offers workshops with her collective, Skinship, and when she’s not too disabled, 1:1 Somatic Coaching sessions.
