Every beginning has an end and every end is a new beginning.
In the last Warm-Up Session of this conference, we’ll look at the tipping point between tying and untying. Does untying mean the end of a session? Or can it be the invitation to increase the intensity of playing? How can we overwrite the narratives that make someone think of the end while they get released from the ropes?
We will share thoughts and ideas and will be playing on how to consider the process of untying as an active part of a session instead of an inevitable end.

René is a visual artist with a focus on photography and film. She first came into contact with rope bondage in 2013 while modeling for private lessons and started to develop tying skills with self-tying. Eventually, she also started to tie others and finds herself comfortable on all sides of the ropes.
Sophia is a London based educator whose interest and passion lies in what’s beneath the surface. She is curious about physical practices as tools for creative expression, to explore and move through the forever developing relationship between our bodies and minds.
