Semi-suspension has a lot of advantages. You can connect more because most or some body weight is on the floor. You can create different sensations with rope without it being too overwhelming. Being close to the floor offers extra security because the way down is short and fast. Suspension lines can be used as support and an extra dimension in floor-based tying. And so much more!
This class explores some sequences for semi-suspension to help you get inspired. The class contains practical info on what to pay attention to with semi-suspension regarding physics, safety, set-up and planning. We will cover different types of semi-suspension play and show practical exercises. The workshop is based on lecture content and demonstrations.

Minimum Knowledge Level: – Anyone can follow the class, but for being able to recreate the ties you will need a solid understanding of rope fundamentals (ability to tie harnesses fluently and to communicate with your rope partner) and suspension basics (suspension line locking, understanding of risks).
