Skills needed: simple frictions (half hitch, munter hitch, hojo cuffs), single & double column ties, simple harnesses, moving people, safety (hand checks, nerves)
What to bring:
Comfortable clothes that are more tight fitting if possible, 2-3 of your own ropes (we can also provide ropes for you)

Ready to deepen your connection through rope? This immersive workshop focuses on intentional tying: building trust, communicating clearly, and using positions and tempo to create emotional or playful experiences. Includes hands-on practice and guided scenarios. Ideal after completing the fundamentals series.

Topic: Modes of a Rope Play Session

We’ll look at how intention changes everything: calm vs. energetic, caring vs. mischievous, grounding vs. provocative. Through guided exercises, partner exchanges, and facilitated discussion, we will explore how to create distinct emotional atmospheres.

We Will Explore:

  • setting tone and intention
  • using timing, touch, attention
  • reading and responding to your partner
  •  building trust
  • transitions, pauses, and emotional beats
  • holding space within different dynamics
