It’s queer rope jam time, babes! Once in a while you gotta do ropey stuff amongst other queers and just enjoy yourself. No posing, no being cool or extra good at doing ropey things needed. Come as you are, exhale and enjoy yourselves.
What is a rope jam?
Rope jams is an open space format. Part hangout, part jamming with other like-minded people who are into rope bondage/shibari/kinbaku. Come and hang out and watch others do ropey stuff or do some yourself. The queer rope jam is where you can bring your (rope) partner(s) or meet new people who love to tie, be tied and/or self-tie. It is also a great space to have sessions in a safe(r) environment with people you do not know yet.
We welcome all styles, all bodies, all knowledge levels. There will be cute music, extra special lighting and snacks. In the last hour of the jam, we will lower the lights and music and make it extra cozy.

More Information
The door opens at 7:00 pm and stays open until 9:00 pm (sharp).
At 7:30 pm we will give an introduction to people who are new to the space and/or new to the jam. If you are introverted, nervous, new or need help connecting to people, DO NOT MISS THE INTRO!
You can then choose your space to tie (we offer bamboo, ring, and spaces for floorwork). The spaces have yoga mats and cushions.
In the last hour, we lower the lights and offer a gong bath for a slower, more intimate session end.
What’s the space like?
We have a kitchen (that’s where the snacks hang out) and hang-out area. We have two mezzanines, one for relaxing and having private conversations, one for tying more privately.
The main room has suspension points, hashiras, bamboo and rings are provided.
In the summer: We open the gardes so people can tie outside (imagine summer breeze on your skin while doing ropey stuff) We need to keep the noise level low, though.
What to bring
- All ropes, gear, safety cutter, carabiners, etc you need.
- We have rings and bamboo but you can also bring your own.
- Please bring a blanket or towel to put on the yoga mats we provide.
I am super new/nervous/introverted
No problem at all. We got you. Please join us right at 7:30 pm for an introduction to the space, the jam itself, and some advice as to how to navigate a jam and how to engage with people.
You can also send us a message beforehand and we will help you navigate the evening and find like-minded people to engage with.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. We always introduce people to each other at the introduction round at 7:30 pm, so join us then to meet other people.
