Wild Card Slots are peer-learning slots where participants of Queerope 2023 teach other participants.

I’d like to propose a slot about emotions in ropes. I’ll be talking about technical tools to welcome and trigger a variety of emotions during a rope session as a rigger but also how to deal with our emotions as models and how to communicate about it. I’ll present how to create an auspicious atmosphere to welcome our rope partner’s emotions (talking about the rope scenography). And finally the responsibility we have as rigger and model concerning our emotions and limits in ropes.
Format: wild card
Minimum knowledge level: Single and double column tie, how to lock a suspension ligne, x frictions, halfitch, counter tensions + security basics (check, radial, brachial…ect).
Maximum amount of participants: 5 pairs
What to bring: 3 ropes needed minimum + if possible they can bring objects they use to increase emotions inside a rope session
