Want to learn about the superpowers of fat bodies in rope? Join this class to learn how to use the strengths of soft and heavy bodies for kick-ass lower-body harnesses. We will find answers to questions on tension, placement, body handling, and geometrics. We’ll figure out how to better support bottom-heavy bodies as well as how to tie bodies with hips smaller than waists.
We will focus on a hip harness, mermaid tie, thigh harness, and the ever-so-horrifying single-column tie on the thigh. We will also discuss the mechanics of lifting lower bodies.
