Creating a play scene can be challenging, with all that entails. Let’s take some space and time to deconstruct what a scene comprises and, how we can reframe, as well as reconstruct a play scene.
More often than not we become excited in the moment of play, forgetting many aspects in this whirlwind of actions, emotions and, physical contact. Mamana & Caritia will draw participants towards what sits behind any scene desired to be played out or participated in. Breaking down a scene’s various components to shine light upon and get into the nuances of a scene and the why for doing it, for oneself and the other(s) involved. The question being how can a scene be fun, desired and, considerate of all its layers of complexity?
This workshop will go into the theory of how to build a scene and then straight into practice. Caritia will actually play while Mamana will explain all details and intricacies in a live-commentary.
