Rope As You Are

An approach for all skills levels in which the model is caught in the ropes while dressed.
The clothes merge with the ropes to become supports and tools such as floor work to semi-suspension.

Details:

Format: hands-on workshop

Minimum Knowledge Level: floor work: lark’s head, single column tie, tension, basic frictions / semi-suspension: tension line management

What to Bring: clothes (top/shorts/pants) ready to get tied up / floor work: 3-4 ropes / semi-suspension: 6-7 ropes

Solo or Partnered: any constellation for watching, partnered if you want to tie along

This class will be recorded (only the facilitator, not the participants) and is available for ticket holders for 30 days after the event.

RAPH has been practising shibari as a switch for over 4 years in Lyon, France. He sees this art form as an inexhaustible source of exchange, play and connection. With the daily integration of yoga and dance practice, he made it as part of a global approach of body exploration.
