Event Details

Bodies, movement, flow and forms – in order to capture the human body in all its delicacy and liveliness, a photographer must surrender themselves into the moment and connect with the human subject(s) at hand. How do you make good photography of the human condition in all its raw fleshiness?

Photographer René de Sans has been striving to find artistic and creative answers to these question for a long time. His photography is based on connection, the spirit of the moment and the (re)interpretation of the imagery at hand. What he seeks is intimacy in forms of expression that defy norms of visual expression, of gender, body images and sexuality.

Together with René you will spend 3 hours in this mixed introduction class getting the basics of the following subject matters:

• lighting and equipment

• technical stats, best practices

• staging static scenes

• angles, framing, image details

This introduction class is a sneak peek for the upcoming masterclass will provide you not only with thorough knowledge of all subject matters needed but also provide you with a model to shoot, to exercise and try out your camera and eye.

Requirements:

This introduction class is designed for all knowledge levels. You must bring your own camera and you must know it very well to follow certain parameters and adjustments that will be needed.
