SUMMARY:The Indivisible Self
DESCRIPTION:The indivisible self was created from the works of Adler and Individual Psychology by Sweeney & Myers and is an evidence-based model of wellness which exemplifies holism as the foundation of human wellness. \nAdler placed an emphasis on the whole rather than the elements\, the interaction between the whole and parts\, and the importance of social context. \nIn this workshop and through breakout rooms we will examine the 5-second order intersecting factors through the lens of the eternal effects of local\, global\, institutional\, and chronometrical (lifespan) contexts. \n• The Essential Self is comprised of four components: spirituality\, self-care\, gender identity\, and cultural identity \n• Creative Self as the combination of attributes that each individual forms to make a unique place among others in his or her social interactions \n• Coping Self of realistic beliefs\, stress management\, self-worth\, and leisure \n• Social Self includes two components: friendship and love \n• Physical Self factor includes two components\, exercise\, and nutrition \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  May 13th\, 2021\, 8-10 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop & discussion (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: – \nWhat to Bring: – \nSolo or Partnered:  both (each participant needs a ticket) \nClass recording: no. \n  \nWhat else to know \nAfter your successful ticket purchase\, you will be sent an email with the Zoom login data for this event. \nIf you cannot afford this event\, please check the ticket option “solidarity” for reduced ticket prices. SUMMARY:Shadow Self and Chronic Shame
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will examine how acceptance of our shadow selves can authenticate our integrative self and reclaim our disowned parts. \nHow when navigating away from maladaptive survival strategies the action can manifest ethereal dust clouds of inner toxicity\, and how we can pivot towards creating our own reality.\nOur subconscious and conscious work together as our core drivers\, and when enmeshed with awareness and unawareness can reveal the multiplicity of our deep-rooted behavioural frameworks. Working against\, towards\, or with chronic shame and guilt can navigate us towards an awareness and acceptance of the roots of our own self-sabotage. \nThis workshop examines the links between intrinsic and extrinsic safety to explore our shadow selves and how it holds an intersectional paradigm with chronic shame and guilt at its multiple levels. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  April 8th\, 2021\, 8-10 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop & discussion (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: – \nWhat to Bring: – \nSolo or Partnered:  both (each participant needs a ticket) \nClass recording: no. \n  \nWhat else to know \nAfter your successful ticket purchase\, you will be sent an email with the Zoom login data for this event. \nIf you cannot afford this event\, please check the ticket option “solidarity” for reduced ticket prices. SUMMARY:Holding Space for Resilience
DESCRIPTION:The difficulties with the current climate have meant that we have searched for resilience to withstand uncertain times. \nThis has facilitated both deeper discussion and evaluation of authentic self alongside lowered resilience for those challenging conversations. \nWith the collective consciousness of resilience lowered right now this open safe space is being provided to share ideas of how we can foster a sense of autonomous certainty. Navigating via a focus of emotional time travel and discussing cognitive restructuring\, come\, bring an envelope in the co-created mutuality of this space. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  March 4th\, 2020\, 8pm-10pm \nFormat: workshop & discussion (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: – \nWhat to Bring: – \nSolo or Partnered:  both (each participant needs a ticket) \nClass recording: no \n  \nWhat else to know \nAfter your successful ticket purchase\, you will be sent an email with the Zoom login data for this event. \nIf you cannot afford this event\, please check the ticket option “solidarity” for reduced ticket prices.
