SUMMARY:Suspend it all at once!
DESCRIPTION:Sometimes suspension is a challenge: the model is heavier than the rigger\, adrenaline is an obstacle to having fun\, the time needed to unlock the lines and go down is scary\, and having so many things to take care of… During this workshop we will show you a way to create the pattern for the suspension you want\, all on the floor and then how to lift it up all at once\, with a homemade pulley that makes the lift lightweight\, eases the way down\, and is very much satisfying! We will use this excuse to have a floor rope session\, with all its fun\, then lock all the lines while still on the ground before lifting it up all at once. A way to increase inclusivity for heavier models\, anxious folks\, and fun addicts! \n  \nDetails: \nFormat: Demonstration \nMinimum Knowledge Level: There are no prerequisites to watch the demo\, but you’ll need suspension skills if you want to try it later. \nWhat to Bring: Nothing mandatory during the demo. SUMMARY:TK for Everyone ?
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will start with picking some specific needs from the participants regarding difficulties with the TK. \nThrough Benoît’s technical knowledge and Noémie’s awareness of anatomy\, we will try to go through various tips and variations and harness buildings to give everyone the keys to create their own experiments and find adaptations and solutions. \nThe idea is also to give models the understanding of what would work better for them and to give people tying the tools to make it happen. \n  \nDetails: \nFormat: discussion\, demonstration \nMinimum Knowledge Level: These prerequisites will make the discussion easier to follow\, but are not absolute requirements\, as there will not be a real “hands-on” part in this workshop.\nFor people getting tied: having experience with TKs / gotes. Even better if they tried different types and have an idea about their preferences or difficulties.\nFor people tying : as I won’t go into TK basics\, it will be better if you have technical knowledge about one high-hands / stemless / V-shapes TK\, and one mid-hands / stemmed / T-shaped TK. \nWhat to Bring: Your partner and one or two ropes if you want to try some of the things during the workshop\, but in any case\, if you really want to profit from this class\, you’ll have to experiment on your own later.
