SUMMARY:Gentle Landings: Rope When Energy Runs Low
DESCRIPTION:The last day of an event is exhausting. Your body is tired\, your energy is depleted\, but you still want rope. This class is specifically designed for those moments when you want connection and sensation without the physical demands of dynamic rope or suspension. We’ll explore mindful\, low-energy approaches to rope including: creating meaningful floor-based scenes that prioritise stillness over movement\, using minimal rope for maximum impact\, low partial suspensions that require less rigger energy and provide supported rest for bottoms\, techniques for finding intensity through presence rather than complexity. \n\nThis isn’t about pushing through exhaustion – it’s about honouring your body’s limits whilst still experiencing the joy of rope. You’ll learn to create rich\, connected experiences that work with depletion rather than against it\, perfect for the end of rope-intensive weekends or managing chronic fatigue in regular practice. Expect gentle pacing\, plenty of rest breaks\, and techniques you can take home for whenever your energy is slim but your desire for rope remains strong.

SUMMARY:Rope Bodies: A Conversation on Disability\, Chronic Illness\, and Kink
DESCRIPTION:This structured conversation explores the intersections of disability\, chronic illness\, and rope practice. Led by Mouse\, a rope educator living with fibromyalgia\, this discussion creates space for honest dialogue about adapting rope practice to fluctuating abilities\, communicating needs with partners\, and challenging the ableist assumptions embedded in rope culture. \nWe’ll explore topics including: managing energy levels and pacing in rope scenes\, navigating “good days” and “bad days” with partners\, disclosing (or not disclosing) disability in rope spaces\, adapting techniques for pain management\, building sustainable rope practices\, and finding community as a disabled rope practitioner. \nThis is a space for sharing experiences\, asking difficult questions\, and building collective knowledge about making rope truly accessible. Whether you’re disabled/chronically ill yourself\, partner with someone who is\, or simply want to be a better ally in rope spaces\, this conversation will provide insight\, validation\, and practical strategies for creating more inclusive rope communities

SUMMARY:The Chaos Method: Embracing Rope Experiments
DESCRIPTION:Creativity thrives when we give ourselves permission to experiment without pressure to achieve “perfect” results. This playful\, experimental class invites you to break free from following patterns and discover your authentic rope voice through structured play. We’ll use the “what if?” method to deconstruct familiar rope patterns and rebuild them into something uniquely yours. What if a chest harness was asymmetrical? What if the tightest point was somewhere unexpected? What if you only used rope on one side of the body? \n\nThrough live demonstration and guided prompts\, you’ll be encouraged to experiment alongside the teaching. This class celebrates mistakes as learning opportunities and “failures” as discoveries. You’ll develop confidence in your creative problem-solving abilities whilst building a toolkit of techniques for breaking moulds and creating personalised rope experiences. Perfect for anyone feeling stuck in pattern-following mode or wanting to inject more of their personality into their rope. Expect laughter\, surprises\, and the freedom to truly fuck around and find out what happens when you trust your creative impulses. While you’ll be tying with your own partner in your own space\, we’ll create opportunities for sharing discoveries and collective learning throughout.\nNote on recording: This class is participation heavy and works with what participants bring and show. We will ask you to only bring and show stuff if you are okay with being in the recording. You can still participate without being part of the recording. We will explain details at the beginning of the class.

SUMMARY:The Art of Slow Rope: Mindful Transitions from Floor to Flight
DESCRIPTION:Explore the power of intentionally slow\, flowing rope work that moves between floor and partial suspension. This journey emphasises the connection between partners through breath work\, micro-reactions\, and deliberate movement\, showing how simple transitions can create intense experiences. The focus is on body manipulation and positional control using strategic anchor points to create drama and intensity without complex patterns. \nPartner: tba. \n  \nFormat: demonstration and workshop \nMinimum knowledge level: you need to be able to suspend a person safely \nMaximum amount of participants: as many as fit the space \nWhat to bring: ropes\, gear\, a person to work with \nConstellations: all constellations welcome
