SUMMARY:Kink and Trauma
DESCRIPTION:Join Ev for a work investigating the intersections of trauma and kink. \nThe vast majority of us carry trauma with us. How can we better understand how trauma operates\, both in general and in ourselves? We will work to understand the answer to this question so that we can enter into our kinks better aware of our own trauma\, how to care for others with trauma\, and ultimately create healing-centered experiences. \nIn this 2-part-training\, we will start by learning about trauma–what is it\, how it operates\, and what symptoms look like. As we learn what trauma is in general\, we will start to explore what trauma symptoms look like in our own lives\, so ultimately\, we can be better aware of our needs\, limits\, and desires. Lastly\, we will explore the intersection of kink and trauma\, including how kink can be a conduit of healing. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  April 26th & May 3rd\, 2023\, 7-10 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: workshop & discussion \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: – \nWhat to Bring: water\, anything you might need if you feel yourself getting activated or triggered \nSolo or Partnered: all constellations welcome \nClass recording: Yes. SUMMARY:GenderQueer Bondage: Rope for People “Between” and “Beyond”
DESCRIPTION:Rope bondage is not just for the normative bodies! \nWhether you or your play partners are transgender\, non-binary\, gender adventurous\, have other body/mind realities\, or simply want to be listened to outside of assumptions around ropework\, this class is for you. Ever had to struggle with how to put a crotch rope on a woman who has a little something extra? Wanted to tie up a transman who wanted chest bondage that didn’t make him look like a girl? \nPerhaps you just want to explore some hot ways to tie up your lovers to make them feel androgynous and exposed? Then this class is for you. We’ll be playing with crotch ropes and strap-on harnesses\, alternative forms of chest and torso bondage (to emphasize and de-emphasize curves)\, and exploring a few other ties that can help us or our partner(s) feel seen as whatever gender or otherness as we experience ourselves to be. \nWe will explore: \n– Build chest harnesses that affirm the identities of our partners \n– Learn crotch rope styles that work with the bodies we are actually with \n– Practice body harnesses creatively in a group setting \n– Learn tips to discuss our desires around rope bondage with our partners \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  November 22nd\, 2022\, 8-10 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: hands-on workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: Intermediate rope techniques\, but the application of techniques is usable for all experience levels of rope for those playing along at home \nWhat to Bring: Bring two or more pieces of rope\, 25-30 feet (6-8 meters) in length\, and a cutting tool \nSolo or Partnered: all constellations welcome \nClass recording: Yes.
