SUMMARY:(Trans) Masculine Euphoria in the Air
DESCRIPTION:What do classic suspension positions change when we make them masculine? And how can we support gender euphoria with our choices in suspension sequences?\nCeci and Emory will guide you through finding ways of supporting masculine gender identities in the air. \nWe will explore classic positions like side suspension\, M shape\, gyaku ebi\, and torsions. You get both practical tying tips and pointers for negotiating the emotional side of things. The workshop doesn’t include instructions on how to tie specific harnesses\, as it’s focused on suspension shapes and sequences. DESCRIPTION:Let’s slow down together and end the week/welcome the weekend with some soft body contact and co-regulation. \nWhether you’re an experienced cuddle slut or curious about how to cuddle with people you don’t know\, this session will provide some gentle guidance into a cozy cuddle puddle. We’ll double down on the coziness with a quiet storytime from a queer children’s book in which nothing bad ever really happens. \nTo make this a safe and comfortable space for more people\, this event is non-sexual and we want to be careful about the ways in which it will interact with our senses. With this in mind\, please wear soft\, comfortable clothing and refrain from wearing any fragrances. SUMMARY:Cuddling the Nervous System
DESCRIPTION:Make space for some slow grounding and connection\, and give your nervous system the cuddles that it needs! It’s a new year\, and for most of us\, that’s come with a lot of intensity–whether it’s doing too many things with too many people\, having entirely too much time alone\, or just the emotional shittiness that winter and holidays can bring. \nIn this session\, Emory will offer some simple techniques to give your nervous system the comfort and regulation it’s craving. We’ll start with how we are in that moment (come as you are!) and then move into slow\, non-sexual\, touch-based connection–first with ourselves and then with others. \nJoin from the comfort of your own bed or couch–the cozier the better! We’ll explore both self-regulation and co-regulation\, so you’re encouraged to attend with a friend or constellation you’re comfortable cuddling with (everyone needs a ticket).
