SUMMARY:Beyond the Binary
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is for people identifying outside of the binary system (i.e. people identifying as non-binary\, genderfluid\, genderqueer\, agender\, and so on). \nThis is a space to get together\, connect\, share our experiences and reflect on different topics connected to our gender experience. In this workshop\, we will have conversations in a sharing circle\, co-listening exercises\, writing exercises\, and guided relaxation followed by dance or movements. \nWe will work on these topics: our own personal story and relationship to our gender\, transition\, identifying as trans or not\, intersectionality\, representation\, gender expression\, body\, sexuality\, gender euphoria\, and dysphoria. \nThis workshop aims at people already identifying outside the gender binary\, even if it is very fresh. DESCRIPTION:  \nWhether we need to decide on our relationships\, our work\, and projects\, our activism\, or about how we want to live our lives – we all have to make ethical decisions in our lives\, big and small. Ethics are not rigid moralistic rules\, but an ongoing process of questioning\, understanding situations\, and creating a more thoughtful decision-making process. This includes learning from our mistakes\, forgiving ourselves\, and trying to do better. \nIn this introductory workshop\, Emilian will share useful tools to understand ethics and the process of making decisions. We will explore different topics through conversations and practical exercises. Emilian will also share learning tools to develop and/or expand your own ethical practice.
