SUMMARY:Self-Ties for Masturbation
DESCRIPTION:For a lot of us self-tiers\, masturbation is a big part of the practice that usually stays hidden. Now it’s time to shed light on the ancient practice of giving yourself a hand. \nCeci will share practical ties and tricks they gathered along the way on their 13 year journey of being a horny rope geek. We will focus on just the tying techniques\, and panties stay on until you’re back home. We will work with floor ties and semi suspension\, and take a look at genital oriented tying too. \nIf you have access to ropes that can be washed\, this is a great opportunity to get them out. For example\, macrame string can work well for this purpose. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time: March 6th\, 2025\, 7 – 10pm \nFormat: Workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: you need to have some self.tying skills \nWhat to Bring: comfortable clothes your own ropes\, macrame string etc. \nSolo or Partnered:  solo  \nTicket: Price is per person \n  \nMandatory Covid-19 rules \nIf you would like to inform yourself about other safety measures we have in place\, please consult our Covid-19 measurements here. \n  \nAccessibility Note \nThe workshop is held in spoken English. German can also be provided. The space\, KARA\, is on the ground floor but has three steps to enter the house. A ramp for wheelchairs is available at all times. There is also a parking space available right in front of the door if needed. KARA has an accessible bathroom available. There are no thresholds in the entire house. The garden is only partially accessible at the moment. During the workshop\, we will sit on the floor. Sitting in a chair can also be provided. Adaptations for physical needs will be shown and can also be provided upon request. If you participate in this workshop and need more assistance please message us at info@karada-house.de beforehand.  \n  \nWho is this event for? \nLGBTQIA+ describes the full spectrum of non-mainstream sexual orientation and/or gender identity\, meaning: lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, pansexual\, transgender\, non-binary\, genderqueer/fluid\, \nFriends describes people of any and all kinds of gender and sexual identities who are aware and respectful of the necessity\, needs\, and boundaries of a queer safe(r) space and its marginalized community. \nWhen you consider yourself a friend you show acknowledgement to and are respectful of everyone’s self-expression and do not assume\, presume or project non-consensual ideas onto others. You actively request and use people’s chosen pronouns. You remain mindful of the fact that Karada House is first and foremost a space for queer people that you are also invited to attend. You have a genuine concern for the well-being of LGBTQIA+ people and remain in awareness of heterosexual and gender straight privileges. \nFriends don’t have to be perfect. None of us are. We request that we all pro-actively work and strive to be good friends and allies to marginalized people.

SUMMARY:Self tying for masturbation
DESCRIPTION:For a lot of us self tyers\, masturbation is a big part of the practice\, but it usually stays hidden. Now it’s time to shed light on the ancient practice of giving yourself a hand. Ceci will share practical ties and tricks they gathered along the way on their 13 year journey of being a horny rope geek. This is a tie-along workshop for the dry run of hot solo ties. Pants stay on and we’re not wanking on camera. \nWe will work with floor ties and semi suspension\, and take a look at genital oriented tying too. If you have access to ropes that can be washed\, this is a great opportunity to get those babies out. For example macrame string can work well for this purpose. \n  \nDetails: \nFormat: tie-along workshop \nMinimum Knowledge Level: You are able to follow along with tying harnesses. You are able to fluently manage uplines if you plan to do partial suspension. \nWhat to Bring: 5 ropes\, a washable rope or string if you have one (for genitals). \nSolo or Partnered: solo \nClass recording: Yes \nThis class will be recorded (only the facilitator\, not the participants) and is available for ticket holders for 30 days after the event. \n

SUMMARY:Open Rope Training (Intermediate): Movement in partial suspension
DESCRIPTION:This bi-weekly intermediate open rope training is directed at building on what has been taught in the Beginner Open Rope Training. \nPlease note that the classes will be taught in different styles from this level onwards.  \nTeacher: Ceci Ferox \nStyle: Ceci’s tying is best described as fusion-style with a deep understanding of different schools of Japanese rope bondage. They are a specialist in modifying harnesses to different body shapes\, sizes\, compositions\, and abilities. Ceci is driven by understanding why people tie the way they tie\, and loves to deconstruct technique and communication into their basic elements to understand them better. In suspension\, Ceci prefers working low\, staying connected\, and moving through transitions. \nTopic of Exploration: Movement in partial suspension \nSuspension lines offer a juicy dimension for tying in movement. Through restriction comes creativity\, and the rope becomes a support that brings more verticality to your play. In this open rope training\, Ceci will guide you through exercises that help you get the most out of movement. \n  \nEvent Details\n\nDate & Time:  every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month\, 7 pm-9 pm CET (Berlin) \nFormat: hands-on workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: single-/double column tie\, basic frictions\, you need to be able to tie an upper body harness\, simple up-lines \nWhat to Bring: comfortable clothes that are more tight fitting if possible\, a set of 8 of your own ropes\, safety equipment \nSolo or Partnered:  preferably partnered but you can also partner up in the class with other solo people or tie yourself (everyone needs a ticket) \nPrice: 25 Euros per person \n  \nNote: \nThe class starts at 7 pm sharp. SUMMARY:Starting with self suspension
DESCRIPTION:Join Ceci in exploring all you need to start self-suspension: safety\, locking suspension lines\, and easy suspendable harnesses. \nCeci will guide you in tying harnesses that suit your body and needs. They demonstrate on themself\, a fat person with limited capacity for pain\, which means that the default harnesses are supportive and use a lot of rope. You will get modifications for more challenging\, minimalistic self suspension variations but these will not be demonstrated. \nYou might practice securing suspension lines until your hands hurt\, so make sure to bring whatever you need to care for yourself. Ceci will give you a realistic run-down of self suspension risks so you can make informed decisions. \nWe will work on a self suspension based on wishes in the group. Your options are the M shape\, side suspension\, or face up suspension.\nYou will need at least 5 body ropes (Ceci uses 6) and 4 suspension lines. We can lend out ropes to use on the body if you don’t have enough. The workshop includes mostly hands on practice with some lecture and conversation content. There will be a lunch break. \n  \nEvent Details\nDate & Time: February 8th\, 2024\, 11am – 5pm (lunch break included) \nFormat: Workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level:  You \n\nare confident with your single and double-column ties and can fluently tie your preferred frictions.\ncan control your rope tension.\ncan set boundaries when workshop contents exceed your resources and abilities.\n\nWhat to Bring: 9 ropes (depending on your body size and pain threshold). If you are worried about being able to lift yourself\, bring one or two carabiners and one 10-meter rope (optional). \nSolo or Partnered:  solo \nTicket: Price is per person \n  \nAccessibility Note\nThe workshop is held in spoken English. SUMMARY:Torsions for Self-Suspension
DESCRIPTION:This is a workshop for understanding how to create self-suspended twisted shapes\, where the upper and lower body are pointing in different directions. \nTorsions challenge the body in different ways: breath restriction\, stretching that calls the body to relax\, and the sense of being frozen in the middle of the movement. These are also the reasons why twisted shapes are especially hard to achieve in self-suspension. This workshop focuses on practical information and ties for torsion success. We will talk about the logic of upper and lower body ties suitable for self-tied torsions. Ceci will demo body mechanics and transitioning into and out of torsions in self- suspension. \nThis is a tie-along workshop\, and Ceci will wait for you to have your harnesses ready before starting the suspension. The process is easier if you can have your camera on. You need some flexibility\, as you will tie frictions on your lower ribcage in the back. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  January 30th\, 2025\, 7 – 10 pm CET (Berlin time) \nFormat: lab (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: You have already tied some patterns and have suspendes yourself successfully \nWhat to Bring: You will need enough rope for making a chest harness (1.5-3 ropes)\, a lower body harness (2-3 ropes)\, plus 3 suspension lines. \nSolo or Partnered:  solo \nClass recording: Yes. Only the facilitator will be recorded. The recording will be sent out after the live class and will be available for 14 days. \n  \nWhat we will teach \n. Chest harnesses and lower body ties for self-tied torsions\n. Body mechanics and transitioning \n  \nAccessibility Note \nThe workshop and discussion are held in spoken English with automated captions in English which are provided by Zoom. SUMMARY:Domination and Bondage
DESCRIPTION:What happens\, when we combine physical control with power dynamics? In this workshop\, we will explore domination and submission in the context of rope\nbondage.\nCeci will guide you through practical exercises and conversations that help you co-create power exchange. SUMMARY:Open Rope Training (Intermediate): Predicaments in partial suspension
\nTopic of Exploration: Predicaments in partial suspension \nPredicaments are positions that give the person tied the opportunity to move between two or more positions that suck. In this class\, we will use partial suspensions to create ties that fuck with the mind. Ceci will demonstrate some fundamentals and ideas\, after which you will practice creating your own predicament ties. It’s possible to either copy what is shown or come up with your own version. Any kind of body can be tied in the class. You have to understand the risks of suspension on both sides of the rope to join this class. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month\, 7 pm-9 pm CET (Berlin) \nFormat: hands-on workshop \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: single-/double column tie\, basic frictions\, you need to be able to tie a box tie /TK\, simple up-lines \nWhat to Bring: comfortable clothes that are more tight fitting if possible\, a set of 8 of your own ropes\, safety equipment \nSolo or Partnered:  preferably partnered but you can also partner up in the class with other solo people or tie yourself (everyone needs a ticket) \nPrice: 25 Euros per person \n  \nNote: \nThe class starts at 7 pm sharp.
