DESCRIPTION:Impact play is a wide spectrum of play types and flogging is one. It’s a practice the goes way back as a ritual\, a sexual practice and punishment. An example of it can be seen in the Italian Etruscan tomb – Tomb of Whipping. There are many examples across continents and cultures. \nParticipants are invited to intentionally explore flogging as a forms of experimentation and play\, to connect to forms of non-verbal communication within a held space framework. With curiosity towards finding and creating a shared energy that is empowering\, playful and leans into discomfort. Giving space to new ground for forms of body knowledge and understanding\, of your style play and flavours of sensation. \nIn this light-hearted\, beginner friendly and guided space\, Caritia (no pronouns) will support participants in finding tools\, positions and nuanced ways of giving sensation to your play connection. \nWhat we will be exploring\n\nmovement\, rhythm and tempo\nintersectionality & boundary setting\nnegotiation – what is it/what can it look like\nfloggers and their materials\nflavours of impact\ntechniques and play dynamics\n\nWhat you need to know\n\nprevious experience helpful for both roles\, however not essential\nbring your own floggers\, if you have one/them\nthere will be nudity. DESCRIPTION:This is a separatist space to discuss and lab about kink\, intimacy\, and virtual play space for black\, brown and Indigenous folks. \nFor quite some time\, Caritia has been musing on encouraging and inspiring more BIPOC into the realm of alternative lifestyles and ways of relating. There are many systemic barriers to this\, including patriarchy\, capitalism\, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative\, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering of BIPOC to talk\, learn about a topic or practice and support one another through a community that is actively built together\, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year. \nCaritia’s intention is to create a guided\, active space for learning and coming together. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit. \nWhat we will do\nDiscussing and exploring sensory perception and how that informs your play. As well as the effect/affect around brain neuro-types. \nWho should join\nThis space is specifically for Afro-diaspora\, South American\, South East Asia\, black\, brown\, Indigenous\, and marginalized individuals who are interested in kink and BDSM through the lens of intersectional nuances and transformative justice. This space may not fit for all marginalised demographics\, as it is impossible to cover such diversity in one space.

The premiss is simple\, three tarot cards will be selected from the Robert M Place ‘The Alchemical Tarot’ whose imagery was inspired by the work of Pamala Colman Smith (1878-1951). Be inspired to tie by what moves you within the cards. Each constellation of people can choose one aspect of the reading – one of the cards themes\, colours\, or tie in a way that incorporates all three of the cards. (only three cards will be randomly selected). \nCaritia will guide and support the space\, with the intention of holding this collective experience with joy and creativity. You choose the constellation you wish to participate in\, whether that is solo\, partnered or in a group. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit. \nWho is this space for?\nThis is a separatist space to discuss and lab about kink\, intimacy\, and virtual play space for black\, brown and Indigenous folks. In this 1-day playshop Caritia will you guide through the luscious abundance of queer and kinky joy and play. While the world at large is working under the guise of constant scarcity\, we will expand ourselves\, our wishes and desires\, our queerness and kinkiness in the most delicious of ways. \n\n\n\nTogether as a group\, we will start with a “wishes and desire circle” collecting peoples ideas of what they would like to experience and how they would like to play with themselves and others on this glorious Saturday. We will then look at fun and inventive ideas of how to make people’s desires come true while also taking care of needs\, boundaries and risk as well as the potential of transformative moments and sessions. \n\n\n\nThis playhshop is replacing scarcity with abundance\, anxiety with curiosity\, the idea of having to figure out your desires on you own with making it a group process of being held\, cherished and nurtured. Each time we will offer a teaching on one particular topic. Depending on your skill level and how quickly you can pick up on things\, you can then either use the remaining open-space time to practice this one new skill in your own time or you can up the ante with the help of your teacher. You can also choose to train your own skills on another topic if you like and have a teacher give you feedback and help you improve. \nTopic of the week\nTying Freestyle\nDo you want to free your brain from the tyranny of structured bondage patterns? This open training is for you. You will learn how to freestyle and create ties in the moment without bothering your brain too much.
