SUMMARY:Kink & Race
DESCRIPTION:Coming from a distinctly European perspective\, Caritia will host a respectful discourse around the topic of Kink\, BDSM and race\, looking at the intersectional nature of what we are each navigating\, to support a shift in the narrative around all three of these topics. \nThe aim with this discussion and collaborative practice is to encourage BiPoC folks to speak on the topic of diversity\, inclusion and to come from a personal perspective on how we experience the kink and BDSM scene. \nThis is not a space for attacking those with different views the intention is for an open expression of the lived experience of BIPoC folks when navigating such spaces and how this can be envisioned for the future. \nWhite participants are also invited to this discussion but asked to be extremely mindful of not taking too much space\, as this forum is first and foremost for BiPoC folks. \n  \nEvent Details \nDate & Time:  February 13\, 2021\, 2-5pm \nFormat: workshop & discussion (virtual) \nAudience:  LGBTQIA+ & FRIENDS \nLanguage: English \nMinimum Knowledge Level: All levels welcome \nWhat to Bring:  an open mind\, the grace to listen\n \nSolo or Partnered:  both (each participant needs a ticket) \nClass recording: no \n  \nWhat we will teach/do \n• Give space to marginalized and minority people to speak and share experiences \n• To offer constructive\, open critic on how we wish to participate \n• the offer of breakout rooms to speak in smaller groups \n  \nWhat else to know \nAfter your successful ticket purchase\, you will be sent an email with the Zoom login data for this event. \nIf you cannot afford this event\, please check the ticket option “solidarity” for reduced ticket prices.
