SUMMARY:BIPOC Utopias – Kink & Intimacy
DESCRIPTION:This is a separatist space to discuss and lab about kink\, intimacy\, and virtual play space for black\, brown and Indigenous folks. \nFor quite some time\, Caritia has been musing on encouraging and inspiring more BIPOC into the realm of alternative lifestyles and ways of relating. There are many systemic barriers to this\, including patriarchy\, capitalism\, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative\, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering of BIPOC to talk\, learn about a topic or practice and support one another through a community that is actively built together\, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year. \nCaritia’s intention is to create a guided\, active space for learning and coming together. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit. \nThis space is specifically for Afro-diaspora\, South American\, black\, brown\, Indigenous\, and marginalized individuals who are interested in kink and BDSM through the lens of intersectional nuances and transformative justice. DESCRIPTION:This is a separatist space to discuss and lab about kink\, intimacy\, and virtual play space for black\, brown and Indigenous folks. \nFor quite some time\, Caritia has been musing on encouraging and inspiring more BIPOC into the realm of alternative lifestyles and ways of relating. There are many systemic barriers to this\, including patriarchy\, capitalism\, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative\, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering of BIPOC to talk\, learn about a topic or practice and support one another through a community that is actively built together\, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year. \nCaritia’s intention is to create a guided\, active space for learning and coming together. It’s wild and fun out here and we are thrilled to be your point of entry. \nThis weekly class is designed for anyone who would like to learn about Japanese-inspired rope bondage/shibari/kinbaku whether you see yourself in the role of the person tying or being tied. We firmly believe that everyone\, even if you wish to be tied\, should know the absolute basics of this craft. You can come alone or with a partner. Everyone will learn and tie. SUMMARY:BIPOC Utopias – Kink & Intimacy
DESCRIPTION:This is a separatist space to discuss and lab about kink\, intimacy\, and virtual play space for black\, brown and Indigenous folks. \nFor quite some time\, Caritia has been musing on encouraging and inspiring more BIPOC into the realm of alternative lifestyles and ways of relating. There are many systemic barriers to this\, including patriarchy\, capitalism\, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative\, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering of BIPOC to talk\, learn about a topic or practice and support one another through a community that is actively built together\, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year. \nCaritia’s intention is to create a guided\, active space for learning and coming together. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit. \nThis space is specifically for Afro-diaspora\, South American\, black\, brown\, Indigenous\, and marginalized individuals who are interested in kink and BDSM through the lens of intersectional nuances and transformative justice. DESCRIPTION:Every year at the beginning of the new calendar year\, we pause and take time to come back to ourselves… \nTake a deep big breath\, unclench your jaw\, and loosen your shoulders. Yes\, this life is a huge challenge\, so much fun but also overwhelming at times. But you made it this far! Time to allow yourself to get out of survival mode or chronic stress and come back (in)to yourself. \nCaritia will hold space for you for an entire weekend and help you to really slowly come back into your body and mind in a soft and focused way. Together\, we will press the stop button for a moment\, return to ourselves\, and refocus on our body\, our soul\, and our life. \nBut not only that. DESCRIPTION:This is a separatist space to discuss and lab about kink\, intimacy\, and virtual play space for black\, brown and Indigenous folks. \nFor quite some time\, Caritia has been musing on encouraging and inspiring more BIPOC into the realm of alternative lifestyles and ways of relating. There are many systemic barriers to this\, including patriarchy\, capitalism\, classism and racism. In an effort to change the narrative\, Caritia wishes to offer a monthly gathering of BIPOC to talk\, learn about a topic or practice and support one another through a community that is actively built together\, with the aspiration to gather in person once a year. \nCaritia’s intention is to create a guided\, active space for learning and coming together. This format has the potential to morph and change as the group sees fit. \nThis space is specifically for Afro-diaspora\, South American\, black\, brown\, Indigenous\, and marginalized individuals who are interested in kink and BDSM through the lens of intersectional nuances and transformative justice.
