We firmly believe that everyone\, even if you wish to be tied\, should know the absolute basics of this craft. \nWhat we do\n\nWe talk about what the heck is Japanese inspired rope bondage and why we call it “inspired”.\nWe show you the tools are we using and tell you why they are designed the way they are.\nWe talk about why people love to tie/get tied and what happens if you tie/get tied?\nWe show you the fundamental principles of shibari and first techniques you can immediately use\nWe talk about the history of shibari\, give you pointers on anatomy\, psychology and safety\nWe will tie ourselves\, other people (if you and they want to) and actually take time to try stuff out and play\, play\, play\n\nThis class is suited for\n\nall kinds of bodies (abled and non-abled)\, all gender expressions\, all kinds of sexualities (including people on the ace-spectrum)\, all kind of brains (neurospicy or neurotypical\, affected by trauma\, etc.)\npeople coming solo or bringing a partner (or group)\, people who only want to tie their own bodies as well as people who want to tie/get tied by others

Escapism is a lab-based\, curious\, slightly mean-spirited exploration of tying specifically for the purpose of not being able to get out. Not decorative rope. Not “it’ll probably hold.” Rope designed to trap\, frustrate\, and quietly ruin someone’s confidence in their escape talent. \nPart I: July 29th\, 2026\, 7-9.30pm CEST\nPart II: August 5th\, 2026\, 7-9.30pm CEST \nWe’ll fuck around with:\n\nMinimal rope vs. obscene amounts of rope\nSimple ideas pushed way too far\nPredicaments that look stupid until you’re inside them\nMean little concepts that rely more on physics\, leverage\, and bad choices than pretty patterns\nWhat if the smartest escape route becomes the worst option?\nWhat if struggling actively makes things harder?\nWhat if the tie isn’t complex at all — just deeply unfair?\n\nExpect experiments. Some will work. Some will fail hilariously.

SUMMARY:Points of Contact - The Sharps Jam
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to your Points of Contact. This is a sharps jam for you to play with or around like-minded and experienced people who are into needles\, knives\, staples\, blood or other sharp fantasies. This is a non-teaching space. Hanging out\, watching and absorbing the ambiance and practices is also welcome. There are side-rooms for meeting people and socialising outside of the intimate atmosphere of the main play-space. We welcome all bodies. There will be play-appropriate music\, extra special lighting and snacks. In the last hour of the jam\, we will lower the lights to allow for a slow and gentle transition and easing out. \nNote\nThis event is not for first timers. You must have previous experience and confidence in the sharps play that you’re doing and how to handle things if it starts going wrong.\nIf you are not confident that you have enough experience\, do not despair! Please simply come to the Points of Entry – Fundamentals workshop earlier that afternoon\, that is event is for first timers. Then you will be skilled enough and ready to happily come to this jam.\n\n\nPlease bring your own sharps equipment and kit to play with. If you do not have a couple of these supplies\, you can dip into our supplies stock\, which is limited\, in return for a small donation to cover the cost of whatever you want to use. A few euros for most things is fine\, however staplers are €8\, staple removers are €4 and knives are €6 each. Please bring cash\, or you can scan a QR code to do a bank transfer in the moment. Please also bring your own clean waterproof sheet/orgy mat to play on\, which you can lay on top of our mats. We also have back ups for this if you don’t have one.
