Led by Mouse\, a rope educator living with fibromyalgia\, this discussion creates space for honest dialogue about adapting rope practice to fluctuating abilities\, communicating needs with partners\, and challenging the ableist assumptions embedded in rope culture. \nWe’ll explore topics including: managing energy levels and pacing in rope scenes\, navigating “good days” and “bad days” with partners\, disclosing (or not disclosing) disability in rope spaces\, adapting techniques for pain management\, building sustainable rope practices\, and finding community as a disabled rope practitioner. \nThis is a space for sharing experiences\, asking difficult questions\, and building collective knowledge about making rope truly accessible.
